So with fall around the corner, it seems like Halloween is smacking me in the face when I walk into every retail store. I personally don’t love all the orange…or the price tag on all things holiday related. So of course that means, craft time! To make these cute pumpkins, you only need a few things, and a few bucks. You can also customize this to match your own home, or add your own twist. I like to keep my decorations, holiday or year round color schemed to match my home…but that’s just me 🙂
What You Need:
$1 pumpkins from the dollar store
Small container of paint ( I used chalk paint I had lying around in my craft box )
Twine ( if you like this look )
Twigs from your yard
Stencil, or you can free hand.
Basic Pumpkins
Paint these bad guys, whatever color you want and let dry. Stencil, or leave plain, or free hand whatever you want on there. I chose to stencil out FALL.
I pulled out the original plastic stems and decided to add little sticks. If you choose to, tie a bow of twine around the stem. That’s it. Happy Fall 🙂
Not so basic pumpkins
